The process and methods you go through to get the whole assignment completed.
The assignment was initiated by my group-mate, Loh Boon Chin as I was away for the weekend on an outstation trip. But he left out some parts in where I have to complete the HTML codes, and I completed it at once I got my hands on the HTML document. My group-mate started a website through Bravehost, after some complains about Geocities. The webpage was uploaded and it is as of now an up and running webpage!
The technologies/tools you learn and use during this assignment, and their advantages/disadvantages.
Learning how to start a webpage and learning HTML codes are definitely new to my 20 odd years of life. It wasn't easy to understand at first, but the logic behind the HTML codes stood out and I have been able to relate to it ever since the first few lessons. Using TextEdit on my Mac to create a HTML webpage is definitely harder than it looks, but then again it is one of the most interesting things that I have ever tried my hands on.
The experience/difficulty in debugging the HTML codes in getting the output you want.
I just kept trying and trying until I got the right output in the end. I spent a good few hours on my first HTML TextEdit code just to get the right impression of it, with some references from the Internet. It was tough to begin with, but in the end once I got the hang of it, it became fun to see the end process!

The experience/difficulty in searching/choosing the suitable web hosting server.
The decision to opt for Bravehost was a simple one, as the other more popular Geocities has its problems and rumor has it that they will be closing down. Ms. Shahrinaz, our lecturer mentioned to us that Bravehost will be a better choice, and we did not turn away from that decision ever since. My group-mate, Boon Chin started the webpage first as I was away, and I tried my hands on the site when I came back from my outstation trip. It was user-friendly, with clear instructions and directions to follow.
The experience/difficulty in uploading the files to the web server.
My group-mate is the one who uploaded the pictures. No complains from him so far, although he did mentioned that the files were uploaded to Bravehost rather than using the pictures included in the HTML as the pictures would not show up in the uploaded HTML.
The process and experience/difficulty in creating a blog and learning how to use a blog.
I have a Wordpress blog, and I blog regularly (though this blog is a blogspot blog). I am familiar with blogging and the ways to blog, as in which icon does what and so on.
Conclusion should include lesson learnt, and what would you do differently if you are going to work on this assignment again.
I would try using Dreamweaver to do this assignment! Haha... I know its a bit far off, but I guess I would try to use other methods and programs to do this assignment other than the original TextEdit HTML and Bravehost web-host.
